A new colorway of the Asics Gel Lyte V has recently surfaced. Dubbed the Asics Gel Lyte 3 Kingfisher, the shoe is said to be inspired by the small colorful birds that feast on seafood. Out now, here is a detailed look at the shoe.

The Asics Gel Lyte III is available exclusive to colette in Paris and United Arrows & Sons in Tokyo, and drops October 22. Only 150 pairs of the blue version have been made, and co-branded Furoshikis have been crafted specifically to wrap shoe boxes of the first 5o customers.

Dubbed, “Midnight Tokyo,” the Asics Gel Saga distinctive aesthetic is inspired by the colors seen throughout Tokyo at night. Flaunting a blacked-out leather upper to symbolize the nighttime, along with rain camouflage detailing, the model is enhanced with 3M reflective elements on the toe box and medial panel that emit a gradient of tones to complement its overall profile. Finally, a clean white midsole and black rubber outsole finishes off the composition.
